Important Announcement

After 28 wonderful years, we are deeply saddened to share that the shop Balloons For U - The Party Store will be closing on 28th February 2026. This is not a decision we wanted to make, it has been made for us by our landlord, who has chosen not to renew our lease as has plans of his own for the unit at the end of our Tenancy.
​
Over the last few years, we have faced many challenges and there has been a lot going on behind the scenes with the shop. Despite all of this, we’ve always tried to remain positive and continue serving our community with the same high level of service and care and having to leave after nearly three decades on the parade is truly heartbreaking.
​
However, this is certainly not the end of our journey we are continuing….
​
With the rising costs of finding new premises, we have made the decision and are delighted to say that Balloons For U will continue as a full time business online, with free delivery available across Basingstoke and the surrounding areas, as well as the usual party and corporate bookings. Please note any current balloon bookings will continue as normal .
​
We will also be focusing on the event side of our business, Events For U - Basingstoke, which has been thriving for over 19 years and is run solely from our unit at Folly Farm in Basingstoke, we will continue to grow on this and offer the same high quality products and services that so many of you know us for in the wedding and event world.
​
We want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff, past and present our “Balloon Family.” Their dedication, kindness, and hard work, often in difficult circumstances, mean the world to us.
​
Closing the shop is emotional, it has been a huge part of our lives, and our children grew up surrounded by the joy and celebrations it brought. We are so proud of the happy memories we’ve helped create for so many of you, and we feel honoured to have been part of your special moments.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for being part of our story. We carry so many memories with us and will remember you all with love and gratitude.
